Crumble topping over the apples. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes on the low rack in the oven. When the apples are soft and their juices are bubbling (about 40 minutes into the baking) remove the cover and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes to brown and crisp the topping. Serve warm or room temperature. One serving is about 1/4 to 1/3 of a cup. Savor and enjoy every bite!

*NOTE: As always, I recommend organic ingredients whenever possible! I use ALL organic ingredients for this recipe. Many people have an apple tree that are on a farm or in town and are not utilized. Most of these don’t get sprayed with chemicals. Ask around to see. If you are getting apples from an orchard (or a conventional grocery store) it is for sure they have been sprayed with a chemical treatment to keep the bugs and worms out of them. Everyone wants a nice, perfect looking product but sometimes that comes with some compromise. There are some local orchards that are organic but you will know it because they will advertise that they are organic. Choose what it important to you!
